Why it lands at the table
Fall Dawn is a competitive dungeon-crawler told only with cards, from Dustiny Games. Players are Erranti fleeing the Dawn, exploring paths, fighting creatures and earning Alaxite.
Each turn you promise a route, then everyone reveals their true destination at once. Parties form and break, and a promise is only as good as the reveal.
Two to four players, sixty to ninety minutes, fourteen and up.
How it plays
- 01
Promise phase: declare the route you mean to take.
- 02
Choice phase: secretly choose your real destination; reveal together.
- 03
Exploration: whoever ends up together forms a party and faces the path card.
- 04
Compare the party's attack and defence with the creature; rewards depend on party size.
- 05
When the path deck runs out, most Alaxite wins.
Good for
- Two to four players
- Groups that enjoy bluffing and shifting alliances
