Why it lands at the table
A.I.Pokalypse is an auto-battler on cards, set in a ruined, neon-lit future. Between fights you recruit and upgrade mercenaries and build up combinations of abilities; then the units fight your opponents automatically.
All the thinking happens in the shop and the line-up. The fight itself is something you watch, which gives each round a moment of suspense as your plan meets someone else's.
It is a heavy game for up to eight, with solo and co-operative variants.
