Why it lands at the table
Unmatched Adventures: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles takes the Unmatched card-and-miniature fighting system and turns it co-operative. Players are the Turtles, each with their own deck and sidekick, against Shredder or Krang.
In the Shredder scenario the team has to defeat him before he takes four boroughs, while Foot Soldiers keep coming. Each turn is short: two actions, usually moving and drawing or attacking, then the enemy acts.
It is a good fit for people who know the Turtles, and the moment people remember is a well-coordinated round where each turtle covers for another.
