Why it lands at the table
Geisha (Hanamikoji, here as Gejsze) is a small two-player game. Each round you use four actions once each, and two of them make you split cards with your opponent, who chooses first.
The question is always what to give away. Fifteen minutes, endlessly replayable.
How it plays
- 01
Draw a card each turn.
- 02
Use one of four actions: keep one secretly, discard two, offer three, or offer two pairs.
- 03
Your opponent chooses from your offers.
- 04
At round end, whoever gave more gifts to a geisha wins her favour.
- 05
Win with four geishas or eleven charm points.
