Why it lands at the table
Trial of the Gods is a competitive deck-builder from Ludus Magnus Studio, designed by Diego Latini and published in 2024.
Each player captains an Argonaut. Over five rounds you sail between twelve islands for pieces of the Golden Fleece, fight land and sea monsters, compete in the Olympics and build temples.
Cards bought from the gods shape your deck, and each god pushes a different style of play. Four separate contests are scored at the end, so there is more than one way to win.
