Why it lands at the table
Deep Regrets is a horror fishing game for one to five players. Over six days at sea you fish, return to port to sell and mount your catch, and slowly collect regrets.
Dice set your energy. Regret cards lower your sanity, and as madness rises the value of fish changes, so a strange catch can become worth more than an ordinary one.
The mood is dark and dry. People remember the absurd fish and the late decision whether to go deeper one more time.
How it plays
- 01
Each day, choose to fish at sea or to visit port.
- 02
Roll and spend dice to fish at different depths.
- 03
Sell, mount or keep fish in port, and buy supplies.
- 04
Take regret cards; madness changes your fish values and dice limits.
- 05
After six days, count your fish and coins; too many regrets can cost you a trophy.
