Why it lands at the table
Escape the Dark Castle is a co-operative adventure styled like an old dungeon crawler. The party works through random chapter cards of the castle, reading each one aloud.
Choices are made together, and tests and fights are resolved with dice. Black-and-white art and short texts give it a strong mood.
Twenty to forty-five minutes.
