Why it lands at the table
Hive is a two-player abstract game with insect tiles. Pieces form a shared hive as they enter play; each insect moves its own way.
The goal is to surround the opposing queen bee. The Pocket edition adds the mosquito and ladybug and travels in a small bag.
How it plays
- 01
Place a piece from your hand touching only your own pieces.
- 02
Or move a piece already in the hive.
- 03
Each insect moves differently.
- 04
Never break the hive into two.
- 05
Surround the opposing queen on all six sides to win.
