Why it lands at the table
Flash Point: Fire Rescue is a co-operative game about a burning building. Each firefighter spends action points to move, fight fire, open routes and carry people out, while smoke and flame spread at random after every turn.
The table plans together, and the plan changes every time the dice roll. There is a real sense of a building at risk of collapse.
Two to six players, about forty-five minutes.
How it plays
- 01
Spend action points to move, put out fire, chop walls and carry victims.
- 02
At the end of your turn, roll to spread smoke; smoke beside fire becomes fire.
- 03
Explosions damage walls and can knock firefighters down.
- 04
Rescue victims and reveal points of interest.
- 05
Save seven victims to win; lose four or let the building collapse and everyone loses.
