Why it lands at the table
Shadows & Shrouds is a 2022 expansion for Vampire: The Masquerade – Rivals. It needs the core set.
It adds two ready-to-play 49-card clan decks. The Lasombra risk their agenda to win; the Hecata are necromancers who turn dead mortals into wraiths.
A 30-card crypt pack is included for deck customisation. The two clans can face each other or join the core set clans.
How it plays

Choose the Lasombra or the Hecata deck.

Play Rivals as usual.

Use wraith tokens as hidden boosts on Hecata vampires.

Use diablerie to take a defeated vampire's strengths.

Win by agenda or by removing your rival.
